Put MaintainAhead on your home screen

MaintainAhead works like a regular app once its icon is on your phone: it opens full-screen with one tap, with no browser bar and no app store. It takes about 30 seconds.

iPhone & iPad

1Open www.maintainahead.com in Safari.
2Tap the Share button (the square with an arrow pointing up) at the bottom of the screen. On newer iPhones, tap ••• first, then Share. On an iPad it’s at the top.
3Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen. If it isn’t in the list, tap Edit Actions at the bottom and add it.
4Leave the name as MaintainAhead (and Open as Web App on, if you see it), then tap Add.
5Open MaintainAhead from its new icon and sign in once more. The home-screen app keeps its own sign-in, separate from Safari.

Android

1Open www.maintainahead.com in Chrome.
2Tap Install if Chrome offers it at the bottom of the screen. Otherwise tap the ⋮ menu (top right) and choose Install app or Add to Home screen.
3Tap Install to confirm. The MaintainAhead icon appears on your home screen and in your app list.
4Open it from the icon. It runs full-screen, without the browser bar, and stays signed in.

If something’s different on your phone

I don’t see “Add to Home Screen” or “Install”: Open the page in the phone’s own browser — Safari on iPhone, Chrome on Android. Links opened inside Facebook, Instagram, Gmail or Messenger use a built-in browser that can’t add icons: tap its ••• menu and choose Open in browser (or Open in Safari / Chrome) first. On iPhone, private browsing also hides the option.
Samsung Internet on Android: Tap the ☰ menu at the bottom right, then Add page to → Home screen.
Chrome or Edge on iPhone: Tap the Share button in the address bar, then Add to Home Screen. Safari works the same way and is the most reliable.
Do I need to update it?: No. It updates itself whenever you open it — there’s nothing to download from an app store.
Reminders and notifications: On iPhone, push reminders only work from the home-screen app (iOS 16.4 or later), so add the icon first, then turn notifications on in Settings inside MaintainAhead. Email reminders work either way.
Removing it: Press and hold the icon. On iPhone choose Remove App → Delete Bookmark (or Remove from Home Screen); on Android choose Uninstall or Remove. Your account and records stay safe — sign in again any time.
